lyrics
The workers toiled in silence, never saw their neighbors’ face. Nor did they ounce look up to see the vastness of the place they worked
in their entire dull lives, they knew that there was no point to try. ‘Cause they were each inside of a formless enclosure which obstructed all communication and exposure to their limitless surroundings outside the shapeless forms where they were confined. Stranded in a mindless progression, altogether void of expression. We are stranded in a cycle so senseless, boxed inside invisible fences. We are stranded on a planet of nothing. The workers weren’t abundant there were only just a few and they were all alone in this place, though
it was so huge. They virtually sat side by side, and back to back stacked countless times high. They used to wonder how they had come to exist and why they had to be so close together and stacked up so high. They looked just like a rickety building; a high rise on a planet of nothing. Stretching toward the sky, hopeless and contrived, broken but alive, they smile.
